The National Police has named three police officers suspects in the planned attack on an Ahmadiyah congregation in Cikeusik in February that left three Ahmadis dead and several others seriously injured.

The three are officers of Cikeusik Police, National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar said Friday.

He added that the officers had violated the Criminal Code on negligence resulting in loss of life, and for neglect of people in need of rescue.

There was a negligence of duty, Boy said, as reported by kompas.com.

He added that the officers were undergoing an internal disciplinary court process and currently were currently serving 21 days’ detention at a special facility.

Previously the police named two attackers and one Ahmadi as suspects in the bloody attack that took place early last month.

At least 37 Cikeusik and Pandeglang Police officers are also undergoing questioning in regards to the debacle, and four high-ranking officers have been removed from their positions as a consequence.
